Michael Jackson- A BaZi Astrology’s Perspective

Posted by admin on Tuesday, 30 June, 2009

In the past few days, I think I have heard Billie Jean at least 501 times on the radio, on TV, online, in the malls and even in the gym! Once again, you just can’t escape the King of Pop.

So if you can’t ignore ‘em, JOIN ‘EM. So here is my contribution to the World of Michael Jackson.

This is Michael Jackson’s BaZi Astrology Chart. The time of birth is from sources around the web and should be accurate as it does match the chart and the man.

BIG EARTH
MJ was a Yang Earth person or Wu Earth (in Chinese). These individuals tend to be secretive and quiet. They are not good at expressing their inner feelings. Hardy individuals, they can take a lot of abuse and punishment without complain. Yang Earth individuals take on a lot of burden on their shoulders and often do so without complaint. They are reliable and dependable.

EARTH EARTH EARTH
MJ’s chart has Earth elements in every branch and almost every stem. This represents the masses of adoring fans that support him till today. He needs this element to stay grounded and stable. Hence he thrives on the support from his fans and it is because of that, any adverse reaction from them will destablise him significantly both mentally, emotionally and financially. Also, when one sees their own element, it is often known as “Rob Wealth” meaning a loss of wealth due. This can be due to anything from spending, luxuries, investments (bad or otherwise), robbery, legal action, etc. And we all know that very few could rival MJ in his heyday.

STABLES
You may then ask, how does the Mountain dance? MJ is born in the day of the Tiger and the Month of the Monkey. First, they are both Stables (as in horses) Stars. This denotes travel, restlessness and movement. I have also noticed in my experience that these type of Stars are needed for that extra rhythm in your step Unfortunately these collide in a violent clash denoting a lack of peace of mind especially at home (Tiger being in the pillar that represents MJ’s home).

EATING GOD
Metal is EXTREMELY strong in his chart. It is the element that he produces known as Eating God. This is where is creativity, his skill in performing, singing and dancing comes from. This however is also why he is so eccentric. Individuals who’s Eating God element is too strong tends to be a little strange. And since this element is prominent and shown on the top stem, he is quiet public about it. Especially when Wu Earth individuals like MJ have the Metal element exposed on the stem of their BaZi chart, it also brings a strong feeling of emptiness and unfulfillment.

WATER = MONEY
MJ is an Earth person. Water is the element that represents money to an Earth person. Where is MJ’s Water? In the Monkey. The Monkey is known as the Growth of the Water element. The Water element is strong in the Monkey and it has the ability (especially in MJ’s case) to generate incredible amounts of Water (and hence- Wealth). So that is why MJ creates his wealth through creating music and performing.

FIRE
He has a full combination of Fire (Tiger-Horse-Dog) in his chart. This Fire hones and sharpens the Metal in MJ’s chart. Making his Eating God (and hence his creativity and skills) incredibly effective and talented. That is why he is Bad. To an Earth person like MJ, Fire is the element of Resource. This is the element of reason, thinking, comfort and study. It is one of the reasons why he is so reserved. It is also the reason why he remains in his shell- his comfort zone. He is a person that thinks too much, over-analyses everything and has a torturous and constant internal monologue.

CONTROVERSY #1
One of the biggest controversies he faced throughout his life was his face. What did he do to his face? Skin bleaching or skin disorder? Skin is the element of Wood. Although clashed in his chart, it is not the weakest of elements. It is unlikely that he had serious pigmentation problems. As for his fascination with cosmetic surgery, it is due to the strong metal (Eating God) which makes him eccentric and the poor condition of the fire which makes him unhappy, affects his state of mind and thinking. Plus the overly strong presence of other Earth elements creates a self-image and self-confidence problem which could have been a contributing factor.

CONTROVERSY #2
Sex scandals? Although he was never charged, many still believe that he did do it all. This is a tough one. Eating God (the Metal in his chart) makes him very creative and a brilliant performer. It also makes him stubborn. He will be adamant in his opinion and unable to change what he thinks is the right thing. It also makes him extremely eccentric. And finally, an overly strong Eating God also has a tendency to make one more “lustful” and a little “perverted”. The Horse in his chart is affected especially from the age of 32 and up. This affects ones happiness, state of mind, thinking and judgement. The Horse is a peach blossom star which represents romance, feelings and lust.

But is this enough to determine he did it?

BaZi shows potentials and these are the potential possibilities: (1) He knowingly did it. (2) He did it but did not realise that it was wrong (Eating God mentality) until it was too late. (3) He did not do it but does not realise his actions gets him into trouble (also an Eating God issue). (4) He did not do it but refuses to change eventhough he knows his actions gets him into trouble (a very big Eating God issue).

THE HORSE

The Horse is the single most important branch in his chart. It is the element of Fire, providing him with comfort and warmth in an otherwise cold chart. It is the central element holding the Fire combination mentioned above together. It is also the element that controls and molds his Eating God making him who he is. Fire is the element of happiness. It is in the hour palace, one that denotes career as well as children. So where the Horse goes, Michael Jackson goes.

THE VARIOUS STAGES OF MJ’S LIFE

In his 2nd Luck Pillar, MJ was in the Water Dog luck. This was a combination to most of his pillars bringing popularity and success but not necessarily success. It was hard work, fans but not necesarily money from him personally.

Michael Jackson started going through the Winter Luck Pillars at the age of 23. The Water Pig was his 3rd Luck Pillar. It was a pure Wealth Luck period for Michael and most importantly, it combined with the Horse. In technical terms, it was a heaven and earth combination where both stem and branch combine. It was a good quality combination bringing him fame and fortune. Water is his wealth and this was one of the strongest possible. It also interacted extremely well with his entire chart.

Then came the 4th Pillar. This was the Wood Rat. Although it was Wealth as well, the Rat clashes with the Horse. This disturbed the delicate balance of MJ’s BaZi Chart. With the Horse clashed away, the combination of Fire was broken and the Eating God also affected. The Metal, without the Fire to control- went (literally) crazy. Hence he started really to become Wacko Jacko. His records did not sell as well. The music was not as popular. And he was very unhappy. Although the Rat is still Water, it caused more harm than good because of the clash. Furthermore Jia (Yang Wood) on top of the Rat denotes 7 Killings (legal battles, gossips, rumours and backstabbing). Hence in the year of the Rooster, he got into problems with the law. Incidentally: Rat and Rooster is a destruction. Rat-Rooster-Horse are all peach blossom stars which is why the charges were sexual in nature. He was in a downward spiral and without the Fire element in the Horse to control the Metal (Eating God). He was too eccentric and stubborn to stop.

Finally the 5th Pillar came when he was 43- the Wood Ox. The Ox is a Harm to the Horse his MJ’s chart bringing more pain, betrayal, lies and emotional trauma. It is also signifies the end of MJ’s pure Wealth luck signified by Water. Whatever Water element was left in the Ox Luck Pillar was contaminated and caused more harm than good. He was also at his unhappiest at this point in his life. The Ox is a Harm to the Horse and the emotional strain attacks his state of mind and emotional core. The Dog and the Ox are also a Bullying Punishment which is indicated by the way he was manhandled by almost everyone from the law to the media to the sponsors and record companies to former friends and fans.

NO MORE FIRE
Michael Jackson collapsed at around 12pm on the 25th of June 2009. He was pronounced dead at 2.50pm. What happened?

He was in an Ox Luck Pillar.
It was an Ox year.
It was a Horse month.
It was an Ox day.
He collapsed in a Horse hour.
He was pronounced dead in a Goat hour.

Ox is the element of Water and Earth. It is the element of muddy water. He was obviously overworked and very stressed. Muddy water denotes poisoning and toxins which explains the painkillers. Fire represents the heart. The Ox and Horse harm denotes heart attacks and cardiac arrest. Fire is the element of Resource which also denotes ones health and wellbeing. The Destruction between the Ox and the Dog also means he was probably under a tremendous amount of stress and felt like he was pushed against the wall to perform again.

In conclusion, Michael Jackson’s chart shows a fragile person that is dancing on a thin line. A man of tremendous talent, a multidude of fans, complete eccentricity, empty heart and unsettled mind. It showed how you need one Luck Pillar to amass a tremendous amount of fame and fortune. It also shows how one can spiral uncontrollably down.

Rest in peace Mike. Hope you find what you can in death that you never had in life.

Monkey Business

Posted by admin on Friday, 12 June, 2009

Incredible.

Chinese government promised to “rent” a bunch of rare golden snub-nosed monkeys to the Los Angeles Zoo for US$100,000.00 a year.

The City built a US$7.4 Million enclosure in anticipation for the monkeys. And this does not include the US$4500 for a “Feng Shui expert” to ensure the Qi was good for the monkeys health and happiness!?!?!

Unfortunately the monkeys have decided not to come and now the city is stuck with a cage that looks like a Chinese village. Perhaps the monkeys did not agree where the Feng Shui expert put the water fountain.

Mrs. Monkey trying unsuccessfully to push the fountain to the right corner.

Tough bananas…

Right now it includes the Stems & Branches of the natal chart & the luck pillars as well as the Shen Sha Stars (also known as the Gods and Killings Stars). The guys working on it tell me that there is a lot more to come and that this is just the BETA version.

One really useful thing that they have done is to include a mobile version. I do not have a fancy IPhone that allows me to view the regular chart, so the mobile version is very useful on the go (with my trusty Blackberry).

Obama- Will he take America back to the promise land? – A BaZi Astrology Perspective

Posted by admin on Wednesday, 21 January, 2009

Mr. Barack Hussien Obama was sworn in as the President of the United States of America on the morning of the 20th, January 2009. Congratulations Mr. President.

Hopes are riding high on Mr. O. He is expected to save the day. But will he be able to turn the Titanic that is the U S of A?

Lets see what his BaZi has to say:

Barack Obama’s BaZi Astrology Chart. I plotted this with
Dragon-Gate.com’s Online BaZi Astrology Calculator.

Based on his Natal Chart, I feel that he may actually be the right person for the job.

Obama is Ji Earth, sitting on Snake. Both Earth and Fire are very strong in his chart. This indicates a person that is strong and confident. Talented and able to work under pressure. Ji Earth individuals tend to be multi-taskers which needed as he will be fighting battles on many fronts.

The Strong Earth (Friend and Rob Wealth Star) in his chart shows popularity and strong support from his fans. This has shown in what seems to be the most popular President America has had since JFK. This will be needed for the people to get behind his policies which might not be as popular as he is.

Strong Fire (Resource) will be required to disarm difficult situation and ensure he has support from all factions. It also gives him the knowledge and the ability to make intelligent decisions.

The element of Wood is prominent in his chart bringing about the leadership qualities that are needed in this trying time. The presence of both Yin and Yang Wood indicates both sides of the “leadership” coin. He can be strong, steady and righteous. He can also be flexible, aggressive and cunning.

But will this be enough? We will have to have a peak at the 4 years of his tenure.

2009 is the year of the Earth Ox. This in fact is a clash to his month pillar. This indicates a messy year for Mr. Obama. Cleaning up the House of America will be like an episode of Dirty Jobs by Mike Row. Since the Goat (Friends Star) is clashed, his popularity will erode somewhat.

But will there be light at the end of the tunnel? Well… 2010 is Metal Tiger (Geng Yin) which is a Fu Yin to his current Luck Pillar (Sorry… getting technical here). That usually denotes strife, deadends and difficulty. There is also an Ungrateful Punishment Between the Tiger and the Snake in his chart. This may make his job a thankless one.

2011 is a Metal Rabbit (Xin Mao). This may be a saving grace as it combines with the Goat in his chart. This could mean that he will be feeling the love again from the people. The Water Dragon (Ren Chen) of 2012 will bring the same just in time for him to be reelected.

So what does this all mean: I feel he will probably spend the whole of 2009 trying to get America back on track. It will be messy and it will be uncomfortable. 2010 will be a difficult year as his popularity has eroded as America decides that he is not the fairytale they thought he would be. America might get back on track, but it may be a thankless job for Mr. Obama. However 2011 and 2012 looks like me may very well turn public opinion back in his favour.

The Sleazy Rat: Sex, Drugs and Unexpected Guest

Posted by admin on Saturday, 30 August, 2008

I know it is a little late for an Astrology Forecast for the Year. So this isn’t one. It is a little commentary of some of the worse aspects of this year. It was inspired by Unexpected Guest (more on that later).

The Year of the Earth Rat has got to be an interesting one for many. Afterall, it is suppose to symbolise a misty mountain top. Visibility is not the clearest at the peak. Walking around up there must be quite the adventure and depending on your personal astrology, it could either be a pleasant stroll or you could accidentally walk off a ledge.

But the interesting thing about the Wu Zi year is it is also a Peach Blossom star AND a combination of Yang Earth and Yin Water (Wu is Yang Earth and Zi is a Yin Water branch (but the combination is momentary one as it is known among the learned as an “unsentimental” combination).

I am sure that the last paragraph was Greek to most, so if you are wondering where this is going, I will get to the gist of it.

The Earth Rat is a year of surprises. It is a year of unexpected events. And by virtue of the Peach Blossom and the combination, a lot of the “events” you see this year tend to be related emotions, matters of the heart. Love and lust.

Already there has been a lot of juicy news this year. To name a few:

  • The New York Governor Elliot Spitzer’s scandal with call girl Ashley Alexandra Dupré
  • Malaysian Health Minister Chua Soi Lek sex video
  • Actor Edison Chen and gallery of conquest flooding the Internet
  • John Edwards newborn with his mistress, Rielle Hunter
  • Madonna’s affair with New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez
  • Jody Foster the lesbian
  • Former Deputy Prime Minister and Current Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim and his Sodomy charge
  • Josef Fritzl, the Austrian who locked up his daughter and had 7 children with her
  • Republican Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin’s 17 year old daughter got pregnant out of wedlock

…and the list goes on and on. It just gets getting better (or more sick).

Even among my immediate circle of acquaintances, I can think of 2 shotgun marriages and 2 more couples people that opted for an abortion. Talk about unexpected guest! (Hence the inspiration for this entry). As I said earlier: Wu Zi: Unexpected, surprising, love/lust related and often not the best of situations. UNEXPECTED GUEST.

Yes. This is what the Rat brings. Especially if you have other Peach Blossom stars in your BaZi Chart- Rabbits (Mao), Roosters (You) and Horses (Wu). That is because they are Punishments, Destructions and Clashes respectively. And they all usually result in some form of emotional rollercoaster for the year. (Once again, this is technical BaZi Astrology terminology.)

But this does not mean that the problems will always be romantic (or sleazy) in natural. It could sometimes just be a lot of emotional turmoil, worry and sadness. However, the daggers (if any) are usually quite deep when there are problems.

I know this is a little late for annual luck/forecast and advice… but those of you that are in trouble, dig in and weather out the storm- do NOT escalate or make things worse. Those that are still in the clear- keep out of trouble.

Feng Shui- The King Maker?

Posted by admin on Wednesday, 20 August, 2008
I read this article on the Feng Shui of presidential candidates John McCain and Barak Obama. Just thought I would share it with you. I wish I could have a peak into their office. :)

Who will win? Obama is a Ji Si born in a Metal Ox year. McCain is a Gui Wei born in a Fire Rat year. Bets, anyone?

Here is the article for you guys to read:

McCain, Obama and the search for good office “Chi”

WASHINGTON (AP) — With a few simple changes in their Senate offices, both presidential candidates could improve their health, relationships and maybe even get a few more votes, says Taylor Vance, a Feng Shui consultant.

John McCain’s Senate office is eclectic and cluttered.

Barack Obama’s is clean and modern.

Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese philosophy that examines how a person’s environment affects his life.

Modern Feng Shui practitioners focus on placing objects in locations that maximize Chi, or energy.

“It’s really important to honor people’s style and their personal relationships,” Vance says. “You can’t just pick a thing, put it there and say it’s Feng Shui.”

The first thing Vance would do to make McCain’s office more Feng Shui-friendly is get rid of the clutter.

“He’s barricaded in there with so many things,” she said. “I got a feeling that he wasn’t really as available as he could be.”

Step two would be unblocking a set of large double doors. Doors are where energy enters and opportunities flow in, Vance said. But these doors are unused, and blocked by a plant and a chair.

“He may not be getting the advantage of all the opportunities that he might if he unbarricaded them,” she said.

McCain made a smart Feng Shui decision by putting his desk at the back of his office, giving him a long, expansive view that Vance said will help him expand his thoughts.

And Obama?

Some may call his office decor minimalist. Vance calls it accessible.

“It’s an uncomplicated image. What you see is what you get,” she said.

What is in the office is well-placed. To the left of the door, an area that represents knowledge, Obama has a photograph of former South African president Nelson Mandela and a portrait of former Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.

“That tells me he’s drawing on their wisdom,” Vance said.

But Obama could enhance his office leadership by moving his desk so it doesn’t have a door behind it.

“Sometimes that can create a situation where you’re not as supported by the people in the office with you,” said Vance, who recommends putting the desk in front of a solid wall.

There’s one suggestion Vance thinks both candidates would benefit from — adding a small fountain in the back left corner of their offices, the area that relates to money and opportunities.

“That would help bring in more campaign contributions,” Vance said.

China’s contributions to the world

Posted by admin on Monday, 11 August, 2008

Did everyone watch the opening ceremony of the Olympics? I was mesmerized. It was a real testament to China’s history and its contributions throughout history.

I had quite a few favourites but the maritime segment was one of my favourites. Did anyone see of those guys in robes waving this around?

This morning, I get one of these babies out from our store and tried it out. It actually works quite well. Although not as accurate as the Luo Pan, but when you do want to go back to basics and need a general direction, it still works pretty well.

Makes an excellent gift too! The next five people I need to send something to, is getting this. :)

Biggest Feng Shui Cure…

Posted by admin on Monday, 11 August, 2008

I read something interesting the other day. Apparently, Singapore has changed the direction the Singapore Flyer (their version of the London Eye). Although it was on a good location, it was not channeling the Qi into Singapore.

Local Feng Shui Masters managed to convince the management that the Singapore Flyer was spinning the wrong direction. It was reported that they changed it according to the recommendation at a substantial financial cost to them.

Amazing…

Personally, I think that one of 2 things happened:

1) The Man (government) told them to do so on the recommendation of the Feng Shui Masters. This is not hard to believe considering The (Singaporean) Man is unofficially a mega-user of Feng Shui.

or

2) They had to do it for some reason or another and used Feng Shui as a PR stunt. It does make it semi-newsworthy. Hey… I’m blogging about it!

But for whatever reason, Qi flow is very important and Singapore is probably doing the right thing. one must always take note of movement and even symbolism of movement. For example:

1) Roads and waterways. If they are flowing out (downward sloping for example) and leading directly out your property. This is a no-no.

2) Water fountains, spinning wheels (mini-Singapore Flyers) and our favourite, the ever popular infinity pool that flow out of your property is also not advisable.

3) Even symbols like horses and ships should not be pointed at the door. You want them good stuff INSIDE. Not outside. :)

Anyway, if you guys are interested, I have included the news article below:

Feng shui masters turn ‘wheel of fortune’ in Singapore’s favour

SINGAPORE (AFP) — Officials in Singapore have changed the direction of the world’s biggest observation wheel because feng shui masters said it was taking good fortune away from the city, a report said on Saturday.

The Singapore Flyer, which opened earlier this year, had originally revolved so that it rose to face the business district and went down overlooking the sea, the Strait Times newspaper said.

However, masters of the ancient Chinese art of geomancy convinced the wheel’s management to reverse it so that it was not taking fortune away from the city.

“A number of feng shui masters had approached us to tell us that the Flyer is on the perfect site to pick up the good qi (energy) flowing into Singapore, but it was going in the wrong direction,” said Florian Bollen, the Singapore Flyer’s chairman.

“The Flyer was going against the sun and taking fortune away from Singapore.”

Bollen likened the change to the “completion of a perfect movie” to give a better story, but added that it cost the company a “six figure sum,” the report said.

For visitors now riding one of the wheel’s 28 air-conditioned capsules, their view starts with beaches and housing estates in the east and culminates with a vista of the business centre.

At 165 metres (545 feet), or 42 storeys, the Singapore Flyer is 30 metres higher than Britain’s London Eye, said builders Great Wheel Corp.

Despite being a modern city Singapore is a largely ethnic Chinese nation, where traditions still hold sway.
